The relationship between an aged Nigerian Mother and her son’s wife seems to have gone sour with a video showing the duo in a heated argument in their home in the United States.

In the video posted on Facebook, the duo were seen arguing in the bathroom as the wife baths her daughter.

The young wife, identified as Dayo, was seen in the footage threatening to beat up her aged mother-in-law as they hurl curses at each other in Yoruba.

She threatened to get her mother-in-law arrested if she lay her hands on her, saying the woman would rot in jail.

“I don’t have a mother, so I don’t know the value of one… tame your mother who always behave like a witch,” Dayo told her husband and mother-in-law.

“You have no home training… except if there is no God what you did to me today your daughter-in-law will also do same to you.. you will be disgraced,” the mother-in-law fired back at her son’s wife as she was being led out of the bathroom by her son.

The footage was recorded by the husband who sounded helpless as he tried to make peace between his mother and wife hurling insults and curses at each other in the presence of their crying little daughter.

The reason for the hot arguments was unknown.
