An unidentified lecturer at the Tai Solarin University of Education (TASUED) has been seen in a viral video punishing his students over their lateness to his 7 am class.

In the video shared on social media by one of the students in the class, the erring students were seen kneeling at the entrance of the lecture room.

It was gathered that the lecture was supposed to begin at 7 am and the lecturer was already in class before the arrival of the students.

To punish them for their lateness, the lecture was said to have ordered the students to kneel at the doorpost of the lecture hall.

The post evoked mixed reactions from Nigerians who found the lecturer’s action strange for a tertiary institution environment.
