Fans of the General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye are furious with Cool FM’s On Air Personality (OAP) Freeze for calling out their pastor’s prophesies as fake.

Freeze had on Wednesday highlighted the prophesies of the 74-year-old for year 2016, indicating that none of them really came to pass.

The OAP had posted Adeboye’s photo, starting the post caption with a bible verse that clarifies the identity of a false prophet.

“Deuteronomy 18:22 KJV : [22] When a prophet speaketh in the name of the Lord , if the thing follow not, nor come to pass, that is the thing which the Lord hath not spoken, but the prophet hath spoken it presumptuously: thou shalt not be afraid of him,” he wrote.

OAP Freeze whose real name is Ifedayo Olarinde had questioned Nigerians’ understanding of the word ‘prophesy’.

“Is it that we don’t understand the meaning of the word prophesy? Or are we so gullible and blinded by our ‘religiousness’ that we can’t see that these prophesies are as accurate as saying “someone in lagos is going to receive a chieftaincy title in 2016?” he added.

He then highlighted the three phased prophesies of which none actually came true.

Promptly, fans of the popular pastor pounced on him describing him as a man looking for ‘ship’ (sic) popularity.

“You are looking for ship popularity, you are missing it,” a commentator replied.
