Nigerians lambaste youth leader who posted naked photo of alleged thief
Many Nigerians criticised a community youth leader, Kenneth Ekeh for posting nude pictures of a man accused of stealing.
Ekeh posted a picture of one man, simply identified as Ndubisi on the Ndoki public group on Facebook at the weekend. While the youth leader may have posted the photo to deter others from following the the example of alleged thief, he met with stiff criticism in the hands of the community people.

Ekeh had posted the picture with “this man stole plantain bunches in obohia. is this hunger or madness?” as caption. The picture showed a naked man walking in front of what looked like a mob. A large bunch of unripe plantain was tied to his neck as he is paraded naked.
However, members of the online community were sympathetic to the plight of the man. Some even suggested that it was not his fault but the fault of the hardship in the country. Majority of the commentators lambasted the person who posted the picture for his lack of respect for the accused’s dignity.
