Nigerians are paying glowing tributes to late rapper Oladapo Olaitan Olaonipekun popularly known as Dagrin, who passed away on this day April 22, 2019.
He died in an accident after his car collided with a stationary trailer (heavy-duty vehicle) in front of Alakara Police Station, off Agege Motor Road, in the Mushin area of Lagos.
He was pronounced dead at the Lagos State Teaching Hospital, LUTH and was buried on Friday, April 30, 2010, at the Ebony Millennium Private Vault, Atan Cemetery.
His hit singles “Pon Pon Pon”, and “Kondo” from his sophomore album, “Chief Executive Omota” (C.E.O) released in 2009, were the rave of the moment from 2009 and 2010.
Dagrin had a short but impactful career.
