Nigerians react as Ubi Franklyn, Iyanya feud gets messier

Some Nigerians have bared their minds on the ongoing feud between Nigerian singer Iyanya and his former business partner, the CEO of Made Men Music Group, Ubi Franklyn.

The feud between the duo got messier lately following an interview published by “The Native”, where Iyanya accused Ubi of assaulting Emma Nyra who was formerly signed to the record label.

While narrating his side of the story, Ubi in an interview with “The Native” debunked Iyanya’s claims and said he would rather not speak on the allegation of assaulting Emma Nyra, claiming he and Emma are legally bound not to speak on the issues that transpired between them.

Ubi then implied that Iyanya assaulted actress Yvonne Nelson while they were dating.

Famous Nigerian blogger, Noble Igwe, who also aired his opinion via Twitter wrote:

“I think it’s unfair that Iyanya is getting blamed for what happened between two consenting adults. Some of us have people in our lives going through certain things we see as wrong but would rather go “ e no concern me” but then decide to be judges online.”

These are some of the reactions from Nigerians on Twitter.
