A 28 seconds video seen by our correspondent of an accident scene, where a victim was lying on the road, had surfaced online Monday evening.
Sources on the campus that were contacted told our correspondent that the scene of the accident in the video obtained is a road leading to Fajuyi Hall on the OAU campus.
But Public Relations Officer of the university, Abiodun Olanrewaju, told our correspondent that no life was lost in the accident which involved an Okada operator and a vehicle.
“I have called one of my staff on the purported video and I have confirmed that nobody died.
The accident that happened around Fajuyi Hall road is unfortunate but nobody died.“It was just a minor mishap involving an Okada rider and a motorist. The accident was as a result of impatience,” Olanrewaju concluded.
