A coalition of northern groups has issued a 30-day ultimatum to governors who are opposed to the planned RUGA settlement programme to reconsider their decisions.

WuzupNaija reports that the Federal Government on Wednesday suspended the planned Ruga settlement programme following outrage and criticism from some State Governors and other Nigerians.

Speaking at a press briefing, the spokesperson of the group, Abdul-Azeez Suleiman, said the debate to accept or not to accept the programme is already causing disaffection for Fulani Herdsmen.
