Ogenyi Onazi reacts to police arrest of robbers who attacked his home in Jos
Super Eagles’ midfielder, Ogenyi Onazi has reacted to the news that the robbers who invaded his home in Jos, Plateau State have been arrested by the Lagos State Police Command.
A police source had exclusively told The PUNCH that operatives attached to the Ilemba Hausa Division swooped on the suspects at their hideout in Epe area of Lagos.
The source informed that among what they recovered from the suspects was a Highlander SUV.
“Four of them are in custody as we speak,” the source added.
The Police Public Relations Officer in Lagos State, SP Dolapo Badmos, confirmed the arrest, adding that the suspects would be paraded at the command headquarters later on Thursday.
Commenting on the arrest via his Twitter account, an elated Onazy, who currently plays for Trabzonspor of Turkey, wrote:
The 5 armed robbers that robbed my family home In jos have been apprehended at Epe, Lagos. I really thank God almighty.
