Olamide signs new deal with international record label Empire [Photos]
Nigerian rapper, Olamide Adedeji popularly known as Olamide Badoo, has signed a deal with an international record label, Empire based in the United States.
The YBNL boss who just dropped his 9th album ‘999’ signed a new deal with the American distribution company and record label on Tuesday.
The record label is known to be associated with hip hop music acts like Kendrick Lamar, Schoolboy Q, SZA and other top acts in the country.
Announcing the new deal, Empire shared photos of Olamide at its office in US and tweeted:

The rapper also took to his Twitter aand Instagram pages to announce the new collaboration between his own record label, YBNL, and Empire.
He shared a photo of himself signing the contract with the photo “@empire @ybnlmafiafamily JV = time to shake the world”.
He tweeted:
Happy to announce that YBNL and Empire got a joint venture deal. Myself and Fireboy with any other act i sign next ready to shake the world. ?

“Time to get to work and serve you guys new Baddo album and new Fireboy album ????? who’s ready?” he added
With this, the rapper becomes the first Nigerian hip hop act to be signed to the record label.
