OLORUNWA! Police release ex-NURTW boss after notorious assassin framed him for murder [Photos]

The former chairman of NURTW, Rafiu Akanni aka Olorunwa, who was alleged to have contracted notorious assassin, Adeola Williams a.k.a Ade Lawyer, to kill his rival, Kunle Poly has regained freedom.

Olorunwa who has been in police detention was released after the recent confession from the serial assassin, Ade Lawyer.

Williams in his recent confession exonerated Olorunwa from the murder allegations he leveled against him over the assassination attempt on Kunle Poly which led to the death of his personal assistant, Ganiyu Ayinla.

The police disclosed that Williams upon interrogation, confessed to the assassination of Ayinla and several other victims in the Southwest region.

Recall that Williams had initially alleged that Olohunwa contracted him to kill Lawal for the sum of N1.5 million. He said Olorunwa gave him an advance payment of N500, 000, while the balance of N1 million was expected to be paid after terminating the target.

The police assured that efforts were being made to arrest the remaining members of William’s gang.
