In a world where people do not hold their vows sacred anymore, Heba Alsayed’s story is the true definition of unconditional love.

The story of Heba has gone viral on the internet because of the rare show of love, kindness and extreme loyalty to her husband, Khaled Alsayed, who suffers from Kidney Failure, Hepatitis B & C, and an enlarged liver.

The terrible health condition has incapacitated him for years and made Heba the sole breadwinner of the family.

As if that is not enough, five years ago, the dutiful Heba took it upon herself to carry her husband on her back and shoulders, long enough to get to where they can find a cab to the hospital.

Mr.Alsayed finds it difficult to move but requires dialysis three times weekly.

Despite sustaining injuries to her spine from carrying her husband, Heba insists on carrying her man whenever the need arises.

In her words “I don’t carry anything heavy. I carry my husband.”

Heba also said when she first offered to carry him, her husband rejected the idea because of what people might say.

“But I told him, who cares?

“But the sight baffles people, they stare and think it’s strange.

“I sometimes carry him on my shoulder, she added.

However, when her pitiful story went viral online, people donated a wheelchair so she could take it easy on her back.

To increase their source of livelihood, Heba collects cardboards, plastics and similar materials from dumpsters. She said;

“I’ve been the only one working.

“I’ve been collecting cardboard and plastic and similar materials from dumpsters, to increase our income on top of our pension.

“I’ve never thought about leaving him, he’s my husband and the father of my children.

“He often asked me if I wanted a divorce, I vowed never to leave him. Only death will do us part.”
