Organisers pay Cardi B $1.8m to perform in Nigeria, Ghana – Africa Facts Zone
American rapper, songwriter, actress, and television personality, Belcalis Marlenis Almánzar, known professionally as Cardi B, is $1.8m richer following her concerts in West Africa.
WuzupNigeria reports that the “Bodak Yellow” singer was in Nigeria, where she performed at the Livespot X Festival on December 7 in Lagos, and December 8 in Accra, Ghana.
Now, Africa Facts Zone has said that the 27-year-old was paid $1m to perform in Nigeria and $800,000 to perform in Ghana.
They tweeted;
“ Cardi B was paid $1 million to perform in Nigeria and $800,000 to perform in Ghana. “

Also, Cardi B describes her experience in Ghana as fun with some dilemma.
She posted;
” I was in Ghana for less than 24 hours. Went through a little dilemma but I still had fun.”
Cardi B joins the list of renowned Grammy award winners who have held live performances on Nigerian stage. She joins the likes of Jay Z, Lauryn Hill and Ludacris who had won Grammys for best rap album and had performed on stage in Nigeria.
