Osun Speaker condoles with Oyetola over demise of Deputy CoS
Mr. Timothy Owoeye, the Speaker of Osun House of Assembly, on Monday condoled with Gov. Gboyega Oyetola over the death of his Deputy Chief of Staff (CoS), Mr. Adebisi Adejare.
The Newsmen reports that Adejare died on Friday in Lagos during a protracted illness and was buried on Saturday in his home town, Ilobu, Osun.
Owoeye, during plenary, said the deceased was a loyal aide to the governor and an asset that would be irreplaceable.
The Speaker, who said the governor and the people of Ilobu would greatly miss the deceased, also condoled with his family and the people of Ilobu.
Meanwhile, the speaker has commended his colleagues for their support and cooperation in the last year of the Assembly.
He described the lecture held to mark the one year anniversary as impactful, adding that it would now hold regularly.
According to reports the Osun Public Procurement Law, Amendment Bill 2020 was also introduced before the House and read for the first time at plenary.
