PARADE GROUND! Soldier brutalises corps member in Edo State [Photo]
A corps member in Edo State has allegedly been brutalised by a soldier after he took permission to get water during rehearsals for Passing Out Parade in the orientation camp.
The humiliating incident was brought to public notice in the picture shared by a Twitter user, Kohzy.
In the picture, the corps member whose head was injured was wearing a white shirt stained with blood.
The Twitter user also alleged that the National Youth Service Corps officials at the orientation camp did not take any action against the unruly soldier.
Kohzy wrote:
“WTF is wrong with Nigeria system?
A soldier beating a corps member brutally because he left the parade ground (despite takn an excuse) to get water during d rehearsal for d forthcoming POP @EdoState and makn d situation worst, d nysc officials couldn’t take any reasonable action”
