Passenger reportedly slumps, die in Kano Airport

An unidentified passenger has slumped and died the Mallam Aminu Kano International Airport (MAKIA), Kano State.

Eyewitnesses said the man, who was reportedly in the company of a colleague from Jigawa state, was about to board a flight to Abuja on Sunday afternoon to attend a seminar when the incident happened.

WuzupNigeria gathered that the deceased was rushed to a hospital where he was confirmed dead.

The police and the MAKIA management are yet to officially confirm the incident.

Meanwhile, the Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) has accused the ruling All Progressives Congress (APC) and Governor Abdullahi Ganduje of plotting to change the judges, who had already been assigned, to preside over the Kano state Governorship Election Appeal Panel.

It should be recalled that the Kano PDP and its candidate, Abba Yusuf filed an appeal at the Kaduna Division of the Appeal Court, following the dismissal of their petition, challenging the victory of Ganduje, by the Kano Election Petition Tribunal, led by Justice Halima Shamaki.
