[PHOTO] Timi Dakolo shares life experience in the ghetto before fame

Soul music artiste, Timi Dakola has shared the story of his humble beginnings before he shot into fame.

The Bayelsa State Indigene posted a picture on his Instagram of the house he lived in with his Aunt in Port Harcourt for about 15 years.

The house at No. 15 Christ Apostolic Street. Mile 3, Diobu, Port Harcourt is far cry from the beautiful life he lives now.

In a lengthy Instagram post, he described the kind of life he lived in the slums of Port Harcourt, the beauty of a loving family and how his story is a proof that there is God.

His grandmother Ateni Dakolo and his aunt Susan Larry, who lived in Port Harcourt raised him, and he credits her as his early singing teacher.

According to Wikipedia, So deep was their relationship that Timi declined an offer to move to Lagos with his parents, opting to stay back in Port-Harcourt with his grandmother.
