The four-year-old girl, Shaynice Talla’s whose body was found dumped in a drain in Eldorado Park‚ Extension 2 in Johannesburg‚ South Africa, has been buried.

Talla’s body was found an hour after her family reported her missing to the Police.

The Eldorado Park community wore green ribbons and scarves in support of the bereaved family and as a sign of remembrance.

Police have confirmed that an autopsy revealed that Talla died from lack of oxygen to the brain due to her head injury. She was not raped.

According to Westside Eldos Soweto Urban, the man apprehended for Talla’s  death has been released from police custody.
