The First Lady of Imo State, Nneoma Nkehi Okorocha, on Tuesday, donated a fully furnished and well designed bungalow to a widow.
The beneficiary, Mrs Rosemary Ebere, hails from Umuokorie in Amawom village of Owerri-Nchi-Ise, Owerri Municipal local government area of the state.
According to a post shared on the Facebook page of Onwuasoanya Fcc Jones, Mrs. Okorocha, has so far donated over 300 of such houses to indigent citizens of the state, mostly widows.
The governor’s wife tries her best to reach as many people as possible, sharing love and restoring smiles on their faces through her pet project, “She Needs A Roof Project (SNARP)”.
Most of the beneficiaries of the project have been subjected to all kinds of persecution from friends and relatives, because they do not own their personal houses.
