The crème de la crème of Nigeria’s social, business and political circles turned up in Lagos on Friday to bid late Oniru of Iru, Oba Abiodun Oniru, farewell.
The first-class Lagos monarch died in September at his palace in Victoria Island at the age of 82.
He is the father of popular radio presenter, Tolulope Oniru-Demuren, better known as Toolz.
The funeral had in attendance dignitaries like the Speaker of the House of Representatives, Femi Gbajabiamila, billionaire businessman, Aliko Dangote, Singer Bankole Wellington aka Banky W, CSP Dolapo Badmos, Ebuka Obi-Uchendu, BBNaija 2019 first-runner up, Mike Edwards, Publisher of Ovation Magazine, Dele Momodu, lawmaker Akin Alabi among many others.
