PHOTO: Travellers evacuated at International airport due to fire outbreak
Travellers at Fort Lauderdale/Hollywood International Airport in Florida, USA were evacuated on Thursday morning due to what the airport officials called ‘small fire’.
The fire outbreak was said to have happened at the airport’s terminal 1, causing flight delays.
The airport later sent a tweet saying there was a fire, but it had been put out.

Terminal 1, which is where both Southwest Airlines and Jet Blue Airlines are located, was evacuated shortly before 10 AM, NBC reports.
Broward Sheriff’s officials say there was a report of smoke inside a cleaner located there, but would not release any other information.
