The list of Premier League Team of the Year for the 2018/2019 season released by the Professional Football Association (PFA) earlier today has sparked mixed reactions on social media.

Many football fans have taken to Twitter to question the credibility of the list following the inclusion of Manchester United’s midfielder Paul Pogba and exclusion of players like Chelsea’s Eden Hazard, Liverpool’s Mo Salah, and Alisson Becker who they believe displayed outstanding performance in the outgoing season.

WuzupNaija reports that players named in the team included Ederson Moares, Trent Alexander-Arnold, Virgil Van Dijk, Aymeric Laporte, Andy Robertson, Paul Pogba, Fernandinho, Bernardo Silva, Raheem Sterling, Sergio Aguero, and Sadio Mane.

Some of the football fans are also furious that Liverpool’s goalkeeper Alisson Becker didn’t make the list, they opined that the 26-year-old Brazilian is a better goal stopper than his countryman 25-year-old Ederson Moares of Manchester City who was named as the goalkeeper for the Team of The Year.
