Police arrest POS operators working with officers to rob in Delta
No fewer than three POS operators working with some policemen have been arrested during a sting operation carried out by SARS patrol team of Delta State Police Command.
It was learnt that the sting operation was carried out yesterday in Agbarra, Warri, Elume, Abraka and Sapele, all Delta communities.
Following several complaints of police robbery in Delta state, the operation was approved by the police authority to validate the complaint.
An official simply identified as Bright disclosed that he can confirm that the POS operators working with the Police have been arrested and all in custody.
Bright further disclosed that the five victims who were robbed in different locations in Delta state.
“We hope that the arrested police officers will be prosecuted by next week,” he said.
