Poor people are the most ungrateful, they misbehave once N550k enters their accounts – KBK on Success Adegor and her parents

Published

Poor people are the most ungrateful, this is the submission of a Nigerian philanthropist, Kor Bara Kor, better known as KBK, after news emerged that the Success Adegor’s parents ignored the lady who helped their daughter achieved fame.

WuzupNaija recalled that a lady, Stephanie Idolor, had shared a video of seven-year-old Success on her Instagram handle, @stephanie_idolor. In the footage, a visibly angry Success was seen complaining about being sent out of school over the non-payment of exam levy. She insisted she preferred being flogged to being sent out of school.

The video went viral and – in Nigerian parlance – Success and her family blew.

But news of a dissatisfied Stephanie claiming that the Adegor’s family ignored her after her video brought Success fame and monetary donations running into millions of naira emerged at the weekend.

Reacting to the news, KBK, who runs a foundation and has assisted a number of Nigerians, said based on experience 99 per cent of the poor “misbehave” the moment N500,000 enters their account.

He wrote on Instagram/@kbkonline:

I don’t even blame Stephanie at all cos the family ditched her. I’m not supporting her either.
But truth is
1. My Naija people wait for a viral story before bringing out the support.
I’m just imagining how many kids 6M plus 100 scholarships would have helped
2. Poor people are the most ungrateful set
From our experience here, 99 % of them misbehave the moment half a million enters their acc.
True story.
