Pregnant lady calls for her boyfriend’s arrest for allegedly assaulting her

A pregnant lady has taken to Twitter to call for the arrest of her boyfriend after he physically assaulted her even though she’s carrying his child.

The pregnant woman took to the platform to call for her boyfriend’s arrest after he allegedly assaulted while pregnant with their baby.

The lady who is five months pregnant said she was pummeled by her boyfriend for calling the police for “putting his hands on her.

She also alleged that this is not the first time he is beating her up.

@MuvaTone gave off the name of her boyfriend as Eric Reeves and further disclosed that he lives in Montgomery, Alabama. The Twitter user who revealed that she just found out that her boyfriend has also been beating his other baby mamas, said she has filed charges against him.

She Tweeted;

“If y’all see him at any Houston airports or train stations please CALL THE POLICE. I’m 5 months pregnant with his child and he beat the hell out of me for calling the police for putting his hands on me! If he make it back to Alabama he Will be free and this isn’t his first time.

“His name is eric reeves. He live in Montgomery Alabama. Yes i filed charges and so did the state i just found out he beat his other bms who also file charges and he still out here free to take down his next victim. I don’t need sympathy i just need his ass in jail.

“This the last thing imma say on it. Yes i called the police yes i file charges i don’t need twitter to do nun but keep a eye out for him if you’re at any airports or bus stations , that’s it that’s all I’m not weak I’m preg. & tired &i don’t care for some of you ignorant comments.

“For you “we need his side” ass weirdos in the comment! Like i said this not his first time… i just didn’t know he was like that.”

In a new video that’s causing a stir on Nigerian social media, a lady is seen counting wads of dollar notes allegedly amounting to $200,000 as she tells her fellow ladies to “give their lady parts to people who can afford it”.

The lady, who’s said to be a popular retailer of aphrodisiacs (Kayan Mata) is seen in the video telling ladies to give their lady parts to those who can afford to pay them in dollars and not in Naira.

The video has since caused a stir on social media with people blaming the lady’s video on the society endorsing greed which allows for an inordinate desire to be rich. Others feel she’s just trying to gather traffic so she can sell her products.

Abiola Oke, CEO of OkayPlayer resigns after multiple women took to Twitter to accuse him of unethical conduct

Abiola Oke, CEO and publisher of the indie music website Okayplayer and OkayAfrica, has resigned after multiple women took to Twitter to accuse him of inappropriate behavior and creating a toxic work environment.

The allegations surfaced on Tuesday, June 23 and more women are still speaking up even now.

The women made numerous allegations against Abiola Oke, including being drugged, bullied, sexual coercion, sexual assault, sexism, unethical conduct, and more.

They also accused Abiola of the exploitation of Black women. Most of the women who worked with Okayplayer and OkayAfrica said the exploitation and toxic work environment made them suffer trauma.

They added that the company prided themselves in employing Black women but they did it for “optics” and exploited the women.

Following the accusations, American musician, Questlove, who co-founded Okayplayer, released a statement on Instagram.

In the statement, it was disclosed that Abiola has resigned and the company has cut all ties with him.

The statement reads: “Effective immediately, we have severed all ties and accepted the resignation of Abiola Oke as CEO and Publisher of Okayplayer and OkayAfrica. We take the allegations that have surfaced very seriously, and we stand with the brave women who came forward.”

Questlove added in the caption. “More announcements coming up. This was long overdue.”

The statement also said that an outside party will investigate the company’s policies and practices.

“We’re committed to creating a work environment that’s inclusive and respectful for all,” the statement said.

 

 

Rachel Hislop, Editor in Chief of OkayAfrica, was also called out for her “complicity” and she released a statement on Twitter.

“I fully support all of the women who have come forward to detail their experiences while working at OkayAfrica and Okayplayer. You are heard and validated,” she began in her statement.

She added: “Reading your accounts of your time with the company was a gut check of all of the ways I may have been complicit in adhering to an archaic media structure that simply is not built to prioritize Black women. I am truly sorry that these are experiences you have to carry as a result…”

Lady narrates how an Uber driver canceled her trip because he thought she was going to a hotel for prostitution

A Twitter user has claimed that an Uber driver once canceled her trip when he found out her destination was a hotel.

Nenye said the Uber driver asked her over the phone where she was going to and she mentioned the name of a hotel. She said he asked what she was going to do there and she replied sarcastically that she was going “to do prostitution”.

She claimed that after her revelation, he cut the call and canceled the trip.
