Presidential/National Assembly: Nigerian celebrities react to election results

Some notable celebrities have expressed diverse opinions over the just concluded Presidential/National Assembly elections and the ongoing collation of results by the Independent National Electoral Commission.

While some condemned the unfortunates violence recorded in some parts of the country others frowned at the mode of results collation, saying it is taking longer time than expected.

Popular DJ and OAP, Dotun who expressed his dissatisfaction at the collation of results said:

Another on-air-personality (OAP), Toke Makinwa in her reaction to the reports of violence in some parts of the country, said:

Singer Timi Dakolo was not left out, he posted on Instagram to urge Nigerians not to get involved in any form of violence as INEC prepares to announce the winner of the election:

“My people no matter the result. No go kill yourself o. How many of these politicians children you see for line when you dey vote on Saturday.

“No matter who win or who them announce as winner, no go die for nothing. Your part na to vote and protect your vote. And remember all power belongs to God.”
