R Kelly’s accuser says she can’t serve him legal papers

Published

A woman who accused American singer R Kelly of sexual abuse has been unable to deliver legal papers to him due to the tight security at the singer’s home in Trump Tower.

The accuser Heather Williams is running to the judge for some help.

WuzupNaija reports that Williams sued Kelly last month claiming the singer sexually abused her when she was 16 years old. She claimed the abuse continued until she was an adult. Kelly however denied the allegations.

According to new legal docs obtained by TMZ, Williams said she has desperately tried to serve Kelly with legal papers but claims security is so tight at Trump Tower where Kelly lives, and it’s proven to be mission impossible.

Williams must serve the papers to the singer in order to bring a civil charge against him.

In the docs, Williams said she even tried giving a copy to Cook County Sheriff’s officials but said security at Trump Tower would not let deputies past the lobby. She’s filed a motion to get the judge to allow her to serve the papers on Kelly’s lawyers instead.

R Kelly also faces 10 criminal charges of aggravated sexual abuse against four separate women, three of whom were underage at the time of the alleged assault. He pleaded not guilty earlier this year, and was subsequently released after a friend posted $100,000 of his $1 million bail.
