RCCG deploys ambulances to missile attack scenes in Israel
General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Enoch Adeboye, says its mission has deployed an ambulance to locations affected by missile attacks in Israel.
In a surprise strike before dawn on Tuesday, Israeli forces killed a senior commander of the Palestinian Islamic Jihad militant group in the Gaza Strip, setting off waves of retaliatory rocket attacks that immediately raised fears of an escalating new conflict.
A barrage of rockets has been fired towards southern and central Israel from the Palestinian coastal enclave.
In a tweet on Tuesday, Adeboye said one of the ambulances provided through the mission was on its way to provide aid to casualties.
“One of the ambulances provided by God through the mission on its way to the areas affected by missile attacks in Israel.
“We bless the name of God for what he is doing through his church all over the world,” he wrote.

Islamic Jihad said in a statement that its response “to this crime will have no limits.”
As of 9:10 a.m., around 50 rockets had been fired into Israel, the military said, and air defences had intercepted about 20.
The only confirmed Israeli casualties as of midmorning involved people who suffered minor injuries as they raced to shelters or who were treated for panic or fainting.
