A Nigerian man has come under severe attack for belittling women’s effort during childbirth.

The man identified as Cyprian Akabudike shared a post on his Facebook page where he said women make too much noise when they are in the labour room, comparing them to animals that produce their offspring without assistance from medical practitioners.

Akadubike opined that the noise are unnecessary.

He posted pictures of some animals laying eggs on his Facebook page and wrote,

“Even these animals could lay eggs without the assistance of a nurse or anyone. But women go dey make unnecessary noise for labour room like say na by false to born pikin. If you never strong , shift joor.”

Meanwhile, his post has evoked a lot of backlash from Nigerians on social media.

The man has however deleted the controversial post following the backlash it has generated. Many social media users are still flooding his Facebook timeline with curses and insults.
