Read former President Jonathan’s Independence Day message
Nigeria’s former president Goodluck Jonathan has wished all Nigerians a happy Independence day celebration.
He enjoined Nigerians to seek constantly the greatness of the country.
“Happy 56th Independence Anniversary Nigeria! Do not ask who will make our beloved country great. Ask instead, how will I make Nigeria great,” he tweeted.
The former president’s message elicited a lot of reactions from Nigerians. Some of the reactions were emotional as many said they missed him.
Others used the opportunity to blame him for the situation Nigeria finds itself now.
The message has been retweeted more than 1,500 times while over 900 people have liked it on his tweeter handle.
