Nigeria’s Desire Oparanozie is the difference between Nigeria and South Africa at the ongoing African Women Championship (AWCON).

The Super Falcons are presently battling the Bayana, Bayana of South Africa in their semi final clash and the Nigerian side had found it difficult to create a clear cut chance.

But the Nigerian number nine who is making her first start in this year’s tournament, had a deflected shot led into the net and the South African team are presently looking for a way back into the team.

Nigerians have since taken to the social media to express their delight with the goal as some described her strike as that which reminds one of the late legendary Nigerian striker, Rashidi Yekini.
