RECESSION? SEE how much Toke Makinwa gave student to buy handout on Twitter
In spite of the economic downturn in Nigeria, popular media personality, Toke Makinwa, on Monday showed how much she cherishes education.
The 31-year-old gave out N5,000 to a Twitter user, Adunola Mariam, who asked for the money to buy her school handouts.
According to Mariam, she needs the money urgently. And Toke did not disappoint her as she transfered the 5k to her account instantly.
Below are snapshots of the conversation between Toke and Mariam:

Some people might say it was because the amount was small that was why Toke gave it out. But we should realise that was what Mariam asked from her. Isn’t this nice of Toke?
We hope begging on Twitter won’t start trending now.
