Redeemer’s University expel student, Debo Adedayo for social media post

A student of the Redeemer’s University, Debo Adedayo, was expelled by the school’s management a few weeks to his graduation for criticising the school in a post on social media.

In a Facebook post, Adedayo without calling names insinuated that the VC was a hypocrite,  who paraded himself as an upright person and had zero impact excerpt for hatred, bitterness and negativity yet paraded themselves as most righteous.

The University after investigations expelled Adedayo for not portraying the school in a good light. The act is punishable by expulsion going the principles guiding students’ conduct in the University, the letter read.

The University wrote, “It has been established through the findings of the students’ investigation and disciplinary that you recently posted certain messages on some social media platforms which are offensive and portrayed the Redeemer’s University and some of the officials in bad light.”
