Reno Omokri calls out Garba Shehu over huge goof
Reno Omokri who worked as an aide to former President Goodluck Jonathan has called out Garba Shehu, an official Spokesperson to President Muhammadu Buhari for a funny reason.
Omokri posted the photo of a printed document and a screenshot to support his claim that Garba Shehu, and other aides of President Buhari may not be as thorough as they claim to be.
The document in the photo he posted is a request from the presidency to the senate that some individuals should be appointed as judges of the Supreme court. At the bottom of the document, where the president’s signature was placed above his name, the president’s name was misspelt.
Instead of Muhammadu, which is the president’s first name, ‘Muhammdu’, without a second ‘a’ after the double ‘m’ was printed on the document, yet the president’s signature appeared above it.
The former aide posted a screenshot of a news report in which Shehu Garba had been quoted saying “every memo, statement, speech, is subject to his intense scrutiny, right down to the placement of commas and full stops.”
Omokri had then written as the caption of the post, “President @MBuhari scrutinizes every document right down to commas and full stops’-@GarShehu. Then explain this? Why do you lie like Lai?”
