Report at any police station if you’re proud of your hustle, Dolapo Badmos dares ‘Yahoo Boys’
Former Public Relations Officer of the Nigeria Police Force, Zone 2 which comprises of Lagos and Ogun, CSP Dolapo Badmos has dared internet fraudsters popularly known as “Yahoo Boys” to report at any police station if they are truly proud of their work.
WuzupNaija reports that the internet fraud menace had generated series of heated debates in the past and the debate heightened during the week when some Nigerian celebrities openly justified the act.
An upcoming singer Naira Marley had claimed that the activities of the internet fraudsters is a major contributor to the Nigerian economy. His comment sparked reactions on social media as many Nigerians lambasted him.
Badmos who has always spoken against the activities of ‘Yahoo Boys’ in the past, had said during the heated debate on their activities that any one that supports Yahoo (Internet fraud) business needs to take his or her brain for check up and cleansing!
She took to her Instagram page again Saturday to declare total war against internet fraud and dare those involved in the act to show up at a police station if they are truly proud of their hustle and couragrous as they have always displayed on social media.
She wrote,
“Total war against internet fraud and fraudsters!!! If you are bold enough as Yahoo messenger? (Yahoo Yahoo) report yourself to the nearest police station!
“A job you can’t boldly come out to defend, continue to hide behind keypads but be rest assured anyday, anytime the law catches up with you…you will be served beans in prison!
“Illegality will not overrun our dear nation! ?? All Yahoo messengers, their family and solicitors should take note.. #protectiveservice #ire”
