Benaiah Monday, the little boy who made headlines after his father cried out for help over his heart conditions has died.

According to multiple reports, Brave Benaiah as he was fondly called died on his way to Dubai, where he was expected to undergo major heart surgery.

He was confirmed dead at the Lagos State University Teaching Hospital where he was rushed to.

On-Air Personality, Freeze, also confirmed Benaiah’s death on his Instagram page on Friday.

He wrote, “Rest on Benaiah, you fought a good fight…??”

Brave Benaiah’s touching story went viral after a video of his father weeping and soliciting for N15 million for his son’s heart surgery in Port Harcourt, Rivers State, went viral on social media.

Barely 48 hours after the video hit the internet, well-meaning Nigerians donated 70 million Naira for his surgery in Dubai.

A quick check on his Instagram page showed that his page was active three days ago.
