RRS rescues lady who posted suicide note on social media
Officials of the Rapid Response Squad (RRS) an arm of the Lagos state police command on Thursday averted what could have turned out to be another tragedy after it rescued a lady who allegedly drove out of home with the intention of committing suicide.
The lady’s father, identified as Hakeem Suara, had raised an alarm for help in finding his daughter, Tumi Suara, who he said drove out of their home on Thursday morning leaving behind a suicide note on her social media page.
The RRS after receiving the distress call quickly swung into action and averted the suicide attempt by the lady.
RRS shared the news via its Twitter handle @rrslagos767 and wrote:
“We are happy to inform you that Miss Tumi has returned home safely to her family. All rescue operations have been called off.”
