RUMBLE IN IBADAN! Rival gangs clash, set over 20 houses ablaze
No fewer than 20 houses have reportedly been set ablaze during a clash between two rival gangs in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital.
As of the time of this report, WuzupNaija is yet to confirm the locations where the incident happened in West Africa’s largest City.
According to the Ibadan-based Tribune Newspaper, the incident happened in the early hours of Sunday.
The paper reported that affected structures include fashion designers’ shops, soft drinks sellers’ shop, houses, electronics shops, frozen foods’ shop, cooking materials sellers’ shops, clothing retailers’ shop among others.
WuzupNaija gathered the loss could have been worse but for the resistance from some local vigilance groups and other residents.
