SO SAD! Leo loses mom a week after BBNaija’s eviction
The mother of former Big Brother Naija housemate, Leo Babarinde Dasilva, popularly known as Leo is dead.
Alhaja RMO Sanni died on Sunday 18, 2018, and was buried immediately according to Muslim rites
Leo, who was evicted alongside his strategic partner, Ifu Ennada announced the sad incident on his Instagram page.
Leo wrote an emotional tribute to his late mother and thanked her for supporting him while in the #DoubleWahala house.
He also thanked all those that supported during his painful ordeal.
He wrote,
“March 18, 2018. The worst day of my life. I lost my mother and I had to bury my mother today according to her Muslim rights.
“I remember the day of the Big brother auditions, you forced me to go, you said, “you can win it for your business”. You said so far I’m myself, they will adore me.
“You set the pace for my life. You gave me everything. Today I felt like I could not breathe. Your legacy is that of the greatest woman I have ever known.
“Rest in peace Alhaja RMO Sanni. Rest in peace legend. Thank you for everything. Till we meet again.
“Thank you to everyone that has supported me through this ordeal. I’m sorry I couldn’t pick calls.”
His partner, Ifu Ennada, also commiserated with him and prayed for the fortitude to bear the loss.
“My heart goes out to my former teammate and partner @sirleobdasilva I have never met your mum, but your fondness of her and the way you speak about her makes me feel like I actually know her.
“SIR LEO, I can confidently tell you that she is extremely proud of YOU in the better place that she now is in.MAY the good Lord Grant you the fortitude to bear this loss LEO.Being strong will be very hard but I implore you to be strong for the multitude that looks up to you.
“MAY the good Lord Grant her eternal rest and peace. SLEEP ON MA.”
