Saraki congratulates Kwara governor-elect, Abdulrasaq
Senate President Bukola Saraki has congratulated the All Progressives Congress (APC) Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq after he won the Kwara State Governorship election.
Abdulrasaq was on Sunday declared governor-elect in Kwara after scoring 331,546 to defeat his Peoples Democratic Party (PDP) counterpart, Razak Atunwa, who polled 114,754.
Saraki via his verified Twitter account also appreciated all Kwarans for their support in the elections.
He said
“I thank all Kwarans, particularly PDP supporters, who worked for the party in the just concluded elections.
My congratulations go to Abdulrahman Abdulrasaq and all those who emerged at all levels. I wish them all the best.”
