A Nigerian man has shared the tale of some operatives of the notorious Special Anti-Robbery Squad (SARS) of the Nigeria Police Force who took their overzealousness beyond limit in Ikotun, Alimosho local government area of Lagos.

A Twitter user @Otunbakush1 in a thread of tweets via his Twitter handle said the SARS operatives had laid siege to a newly-built house in his neighbourhood with the belief that the occupants of the house are internet fraudsters otherwise known as ‘Yahoo Boys’.

On Sunday, when the SARS operatives reportedly busted the house, they jumped into the residence through the fence after several knocks on the gate yielded no response from the residents, the Twitter user said.

After jumping into the residence, the first person they saw was a young man who they descended on and started beating. When the man managed to escape back into the building, his dad who is a major general and his brothers, all of the Nigerian Army, came out to ask why the policemen invaded their home, it was at that point they introduced themselves and dealt with the overzealous policemen.
