A man who posed as a buyer to steal a Porsche Panamera car in Osborne Foreshare estate has been arrested by officers of the Lagos State Police Command.

The suspect, who was arrested on Thursday reportedly called a car dealer to bring a Porsche Panamera to his estate, assuring him of payment when he arrives.

The car dealer said when he got to the estate, the suspect came out of a compound, and demanded he test drive the car before making payment.

He said he gave the suspect the car key since it was just within the estate but surprisingly, the suspect zoomed off with the car.

He said he searched everywhere in the estate but he was nowhere to be found.

The dealer said when he went inside the compound he came out from, he discovered that it was an empty house.

He then went to a nearby police station to make a report and was immediately declared wanted by the police.

The car dealer, who thanked the police for their quick intervention, also stated that his post was aimed at raising awareness for anyone that wants to sell their car privately and individually.
