Afrofusion singer, Burna Boy, headlined his much anticipated #BurnaLive concert at the Eko Convention Centre on Wednesday and thrilled fans to an impressive performance.

The sold-out concert was attended by top celebrities, music stars and die-hard fans who had been hyping the singer on their social media handles.

Although the much-anticipated event did take place, it was fraught with the now familiar case of music stars arriving late.

Fans present at the Boxing Day concert had to wait till 2 am on Thursday for the “Ye” crooner to arrive at the event billed to commence at 7 pm Wednesday.

Music lovers and critics took to their Twitter handle to share photos of angry fans waiting for the “man of the moment” and lamented the poor security of the organisers.

However, some also hailed D’banj, Wizkid, Davido, Wande Coal and 2baba who did a spectacular performance in entertaining fans.

But despite the protracted delay, the highly anticipated and publicised concert was a success, at least judging from some tweets from the likes of veteran Nollywood actress, Ireti Doyle, and some celebrities who attended.
