Report just reaching us inform that some members of National Youth Council of Nigeria are currently staging a protest at the entrance of National Assembly in Abuja demanding the sanction and indefinite suspension of Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin.

According to the writings on the placards carried by the protesters, they are calling on the EFCC to arrest and prosecute Hon. Abdulmumin Jibrin over alleged £1.3million  found in his foreign account.

The Head of the Anti-corruption unit of the NYCN, Ifeanyi Okonkwo, had on Sunday claimed that the group had traced £1.558m (N825m) to a United Kingdom account allegedly belonging to Hon. Jibrin.

An allegation Hon. Jibrin has vehemently denied, claiming it was a ploy by his enemies to dent his image.
