SEE what Nigerian troops were doing inside thick forest ahead ‘Operation Crocodile Smile’
Barely four weeks ago, the Nigerian Army launched what it called ‘Operation Crocodile Smile’ aimed at testing the combat readiness of its amphibious units and checking such widespread criminal activities as kidnapping, militancy, oil theft and piracy in the Niger Delta.
On Thursday, August 25, 2016, the acting Director Army Public Relations, Col. Sani Kukasheka Usman, shared photos of the Nigerian troops in preparation for the operation.
According to the photos shared on Col. Usman’s Facebook page, the troops were inside unnamed thick forest, apparently in the Niger Delta area, engaging in different military exercises.
