The longtime feud between Ghanaian dancehall artistes, Stonebwoy and Shatta Wale, ‘is over’ after the pair made peace at a joint press conference on Tuesday, June 4, 2019.
The music stars who endangered guests at the recently concluded Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA) sheath their swords in front of guests and journalists in Ghana.
One of the shocking moments at the reconciliatory conference was when Shatta Wale suddenly kissed Stonebwoy on his cheek as a sign of truce and hopefully peaceful coexistence.

The press conference was organised by the Kofi Abban Foundation.
During Stonebwoy’s speech, he once again apologised for pulling a gun at Shatta Wale and his entourage on stage at the VGMA awards.
Shatta Wale, on his part, pleaded with media outlets to push artistes brand and stop publishing stories that will tarnish their images.
‘Shatta Movement’ and ‘BHIM Natives’ as the fans of the two artistes are called, were urged to brace themselves up for a peace concert to put an end to the bitter rivalry.
The artistes also had leading members of their management teams, Black CD and Bulldog gracing the press conference.
Meanwhile, both musicians are expected to re-appear in court on June 20, 2019, following the brawl the happened at the VGMA which led to their arrest and bail.
Recall that music stars were stripped of all the awards they won at the 20th edition of the Vodafone Ghana Music Awards (VGMA).
The VGMA board also announced that the pair have been banned indefinitely from participating in the nominations, selections, and performances in the VGMAs scheme.
