“She was supposed to close by 6 pm, but Vwede never came home until 9pm, a situation that even made us look for her. When she came that night everyone was angry with her, her mother chided her and her elder brother threatened to beat her” a source who claimed to be a family member to the Michael’s said.
The teenager was said to have gone to bed in tears that night and was believed to have drunk the insecticide in the morning.
“No one knew what she had done that morning, not until she began to complain of severe stomach ache, that was when her mother perceived the smell of insecticide from her mouth and raised alarm.

The remains of the deceased have been handed over to her family for burial, while a source at the Sapele Police Station who craved anonymity, said the case was not reported at the station.
