Shehu Sani, Kadaria Ahmed react to Sanusi’s dethronement
Joining Nigerians on social media in lending their voices to the removal of Muhammad Sanusi as emir of Kano by Governor Abdullahi Ganduje is Senator Shehu Sani and journalist, Kadaria Ahmed.
After news of Sanusi’s dethronement went viral earlier today, Shehu Sani wrote on Twitter:
“The removal of Emir Sanusi represents the incompatibility of the crown and conscience, the consequences of dissent against established norms and the heavy price of holding principles in our North. It also revealed the intolerance and toxicity of the liquor of power.”
Ahmed also wrote on Twitter:
“We know it is well with HRH Muhammadu Sanusi II and it will always be well with him. In all things we say Alhamdullilah.”
