Remember Shoki Shitta? The energetic fan of singer, Davido, who was beaten to a pulp a few months ago by fans of Wizkid at Surulere area of Lagos. He is at it again.

In May 2019, he was beaten for professing his love for Davido in a viral video while trolling Wizkid who is the favourite of residents of Shitta where he resides.

Wizkid grew up in that neighbourhood and has always made reference to Shitta, Ojuelegba, Surulere in his songs. He dedicated a track ‘Ojuelegba’ to the area in his album ‘Ayo’. No doubt, Wizkid commands a cult-like following among young residents of the area.

Well, Shoki Shitta didn’t suffer in vain, Davido gifted him a million Naira after his ordeal.

He has never hidden his love for Davido which seems to be out of this world, his IG page is flooded with photos and videos of Davido and a few days ago he did the unthinkable. He organised a christening party for Davido’s new son.

The singer and his fiancee, Chioma, welcomed their son in the United States a few weeks ago.

To celebrate the arrival of David Junior, Shoki Shitta gathered friends at his Shitta base, killed a ram and threw a party for the newborn.

He shared photos and videos of the party on his Instagram page and he tagged the singer who is yet to respond.

Explaining the motive behind his action, he wrote:

“In Islam, the baby is named on the seventh eight days by the mother and father @davidoofficial @thechefchi who make a decision together on what the child should be called.

“They choose an appropriate names (sic) Adedeji Ifeayinchukwu Omooba Adeleke David Jr, Usually Islamic, and with a positive meaning. Aqiqah takes place on the seventh day also, this is a celebration which involves the slaughter of sheep. Party ? Mood.”
