Linda Ikeji’s baby daddy, Sholaye Jeremi, has cautioned impersonators who opened Instagram accounts in his name.

The Delta State oil magnate who has kept his relationship with the wealthy blogger off social media space said it’s unfortunate that bloggers and some online news outlets have fallen prey to the impersonator’s antics.

In a statement released by his media aide, Obafemi Ajayi, he said it becomes mortifying to see “the creeps” leap in the mud and perpetuate lies in desperation, to slant the court of public opinion against a “decent and well-cultured businessman”.

Ajayi further appealed to the general public not to take the rumour mongers seriously.

Read the statement;

“The attention of Mr Sholaye Jeremi has been drawn to some social media hoodlums who opened Instagram accounts in his name.

“This is to inform the general public that Mr Jeremi doesn’t have any social media account and he’s not on Instagram.

“Even though the accounts are fake, bloggers, mischief-makers and quacks pounced on them; like harbingers of pain and ill-will, they cast it across social media, not minding the consequences of reporting lies as truth.

“It becomes mortifying, therefore, to see the creeps leap in the mud and perpetrate lies in desperation, to slant the court of public opinion against Mr Sholaye Jeremi, a decent and well-cultured businessman.

“As far as we are concerned, their annoyingly comical posts not only beggars belief but skirts moral boundaries.

“The reports which attempted to disparage the hardworking oil magnate was curiously mischievous. Naturally, Mr Sholaye wouldn’t have responded to the poorly choreographed bunch of lies, but we just have to keep the record straight.

“We hereby appeal to the general public not to take the evil-doers seriously. Thank you.”

Recall that Linda Ikeji subtly revealed the identity of her son’s father and her “husband to be “after the birth of her son.

However, her Instagram announcement comes after a social media user on Nairaland had emphatically said that Jeremi was responsible for her pregnancy.

The user wrote;

“Linda Ikeji is pregnant for Sholaye Jeremi, a close associate to Minister of State for Petroleum, Ibe Kachikwu. He is from Sapele, Delta state. 100% confirmed. The funny thing is there was no engagement as Shola will not settle down although he is 40 plus.

“Jeremi also stays in Ikoyi. Very credible, although Linda is trying to manage the situation but this information is 100 percent credible. You can do your findings as well, but thats the guy.”

The puzzle began to fall into place since fans and non-fans called her out after the birth of baby J.

Some had claimed that she gave birth through a surrogate.
